Hope + Mercy

Midtown Presbyterian is a new church in Columbia’s Midtown, proclaiming the life-giving Hope of the Gospel of Jesus and practicing Mercy to our neighbor. (Micah 6:8)

A Wonderfully Eclectic Family

Midtown Presbyterian is an eclectic hodgepodge of people, from the believing and trying-to-believe to the weary and the skeptic. Sharing life together, we sort through the things of life and faith, informed by Gospel, found in the pages of God's Word, the Bible.

Our Beliefs and Denominational Connection

Midtown Presbyterian believes that Christianity as a system of belief is compelling and believable, with regard to the world we live in and our life experience in it. We are a member church of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). To learn more about the PCA’s beliefs, click here.

Do I have to be Presbyterian to be part of Midtown?

Not at all. We expect there to be differences among us, and we recognize that not everyone agrees on everything a church teaches or believes. Our hope is that you find Midtown to be a church where you can deepen your understanding of Christianity, if it is unfamiliar to you, and grow in your relationship with Jesus, if you're a Christian already.
